our History

Cambria Springs was founded in 1938 by John Carazoli and was originally located on Baumer Street in the City of Johnstown.  The business was moved to the current location on Horner Street in 1969 and incorporated under the name Cambria Springs Service, Inc. by the Fregly family.

The Owners

David & Katherine Garman purchased the business in May of 2022 from the Fregly family.

Dave, a native of Johnstown, is a graduate of Bishop McCort Catholic High School and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown (UPJ) with a Bachelor in Business Management. 

Kathy is originally from Cresson, PA. She is graduate of Penn Cambria High School, and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. 

The Garman family relocated out of the area to North Carolina but recently had the opportunity to return home back to Western PA and carry on the rich history of Cambria Springs Service Inc.
